It was almost a perfect day for Amolaka Chaudhari.

The Shiner right fielder displayed a hot bat, enjoying an outstanding 6-hit day, but something was missing: The Wild Hares lost to the Aflac Ducks, 13-12. Chaudhari told BNN reporters after the game that luck was "fickle."

Shiner manager Anastasio Alonso told the beat writers otherwise.

"There was no luck today," the skipper said. "He got 6 hits because he has a solid approach to hitting and he put it all together, and we lost because the rest of us didn't put it together so well."

Amolaka Chaudhari singled in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Luis López in the 9th.

This season, Chaudhari is batting .426 with 4 home runs. He has scored 16 runs and driven in 17.
