Lincoln catcher Arnold Ryan could do no wrong in his team's 17-0 win over the Wild Hares, as he collected 5 hits.

"Things were in his favor in every one of his at-bats," Wild Hares skipper Miguel Solís said to the press corps after the game. "He got hitters' counts."

Ryan agreed, saying that getting ahead early in the counts was "the key" to his game.

"Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit," he said. "You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready."

Arnold Ryan walked in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Edgar Olson in the 6th and hit an RBI double in the 7th.

Thus far this season, Ryan is hitting .348 with 6 home runs, 20 RBIs and 12 runs scored. He has 23 hits in 66 at-bats and has played in 18 games.
