Carolino Torches Budweisers for 5 Hits
No matter what the Anheiser-Busch Budweisers threw at him, António Carolino hit it. He easily handled Budweisers pitching, going 5 for 6 and helping the X-Sox triumph, 35-20, at Anchorage College Grounds.

"The way I was swinging, I think I could have closed my eyes and hit the ball," he told BNN reporters in the postgame interview.

Told of Carolino's quip, Budweisers skipper Joaquín Guerrero said he "would take him up on that next time."

António Carolino doubled in the 1st, walked in a run in the 2nd, walked in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th, hit a two-run double in the 8th and walked in a run in the 8th.

Carolino's current batting average stands at .365 and he has chalked up 7 home runs and 32 RBIs.
