The Best Buy Geek Squad stopped the Staples Staples by a score of 29-2 at Ballpark of Corpus Christi College, with the lion's share of the credit going to third baseman Miguel García. The 19-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.

"Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," García said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."

García did just that in his 5 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Staples.

"Not much that I can say," offered Staples manager Paul Cháves. "He just hammered the heck out of us."

Miguel García walked in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Paulino Hernández in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, walked in a run in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a two-run home run off Paul Pelkey in the 7th and singled in the 8th.

In his 2061 season totals, García has 10 home runs, .431 BA, .567 OBP, 25 RBIs and 21 runs scored.
