Sunday, February 12th , 2062

The first baseman finished 4-for-4 with 5 runs scored and 4 runs batted in.
"It was just one of those days," Torres said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball."
3M skipper José Chacón said Torres was "locked-in."
"We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him."
Armando Torres hit a two-run home run off Graham Haynes in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Graham Haynes in the 5th, walked in the 5th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Dan Haden in the 8th.
