20-Game Hitting Streak for Pinto Sunday, February 19th , 2062 Domingo Pinto of the Pabst Blue Ribbons tagged 1 hit in today's 17-7 loss to the Kellogg Tigers at Marksmen Ballpark to run his hitting streak to 20 straight games. "I realize it's unlikely to have a 20-game streak and not have a couple losses mixed in," he said later. "But it still takes the fun out of it." Domingo Pinto walked in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, was hit by a pitch in the 6th and struck out in the 8th. Pinto is currently hitting .331 with 18 home runsand 51 RBIs, while scoring 47 runs. |
