Echevarría Goes 5-for-5 Against Chevron Monday, January 29th , 2063 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Gulf Oil's Martín Echevarría made it happen against the Gold. Everything came together at the plate for the 19-year-old third baseman as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and helped the Drillers triumph, 12-8, at Doobie Kings Ballpark. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Echevarría said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Martín Echevarría hit a three-run home run off Orlando Seibel in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, doubled in the 6th, walked in the 8th, singled in the 10th and singled in the 12th.
