López Bangs Out 6 Base Hits Monday, January 29th , 2063 It was high-fives all around for Arturo López at Lubbock College Grounds. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Aflac Ducks. López smashed 6 hits in 7 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 5-4 win. "Arturo was hitting everything," said Airs manager Fabio Blankendal. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Ducks manager Hervé Lejeune told BNN beat writers that López "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, López oversleeps next time."
