It's Over: Mouse Stop García Tuesday, January 30th , 2063 3M Miners first baseman Edgar García and his hot bat finally met their match at Mummies Ballpark. The Disney Mouse snapped his 22-game hitting string, holding García hitless in 5 at-bats and also whipping 3M, 10-1, for good measure. "We're real pleased with this one," Mouse manager Víctor Ortega said. "Nobody wants to be on the wrong end of a streak like that, and clobbering 3M makes it even sweeter." So far on the season, García is hitting .349 with 11 home runs, 37 RBIs and 38 runs scored. He has 44 hits and played in 28 games. |
