Tully Sizzles with 43-Game Batting Streak Tuesday, February 13th , 2063 The hot bat of Tallboys left fielder Doug Tully continues to churn out hit after hit, game after game. His consecutive-game hitting streak now numbers 43 games after he went 1-for-4 in today's 3-2 loss to the Chevys at Mortars Stadium. "I'm trying not to think about it much," he said later. "I don't want to mess with whatever zone I'm in." Doug Tully flied out in the 1st, grounded out in the 4th, flied out in the 6th and doubled in the 9th. This year, Tully is hitting .491, produced 41 RBIs and 9 home runs, scored 46 times and gotten on base at a .559 rate. |
