Newsom Sizzles -- Smokes Continentals for 5 Hits Thursday, February 15th , 2063 The Anheiser-Busch Budweisers swept past the Lincoln Continentals, 25-12, at Ballpark of Greensboro College, paced by first baseman Everett Newsom. The 19-year-old Newsom got 5 hits in 5 at-bats, helping to down the Continentals. Everett Newsom singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, walked in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, walked in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Pedro Peña in the 8th.
