Hops Pitching Ravaged by Grondin Saturday, February 17th , 2063 Who needs batting practice? Apparently not U.S. Coast Guard Bears left fielder Stephen Grondin, who missed the team's pre-game session but peppered the visiting Marriott Hops for 5 hits come game time. The Bears went on to take the 25-3 win. "I was late to the park and I wasn't sure coach was even going to keep me in the lineup," he told the press after the game. "Maybe I should skip BP more often." Stephen Grondin doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 5th and walked in the 7th.
