Carolino Slaps 6 Hits Sunday, February 18th , 2063 Speaking with reporters after a dominating hitting performance, António Carolino said his club's tilt with the Gillette Razors "felt almost like batting practice." The 18-year-old first baseman went a remarkable 6-for-6 at the plate. "I saw the ball well and could just about hit it anywhere I wanted," he recalled later. However, his sensational day wasn't enough for the Microsoft X-Sox, who were topped by the Razors, 38-29. "It's a good lesson for him, I guess," X-Sox manager Gang Wang said. "Sometimes António is going to lose. But I would rather him go 6-for-6 and lose than go 0-for-6 and lose." António Carolino hit a two-run home run off Ben Miller in the 1st, hit an RBI triple in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 7th, walked in a run in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
