Searchers Advance to Round 2 Friday, March 9th , 2063 The Google Searchers clubhouse was filled with glee and celebration tonight, while the Pabst Blue Ribbons room was filled with despair and sadness after the Round 1 concluded. "Someone's got to win and someone's got to lose, we're just glad we're on the good end of it tonight and can enjoy this," said Tony López, who was named MVP for a strong series of offensive performance. Google won the final game by a 6-5 count at Green Sox Ballpark and the series 4-2. Pabst manager Gigi Mdogo was simple and to-the-point in his assessment of the series. "They were the better team and deserve to move on," he said. For the series, López hit .565 with a .688 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, drove in 10 RBI and scored 8 runs. The Google Searchers don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Aflac Ducks - U.S. Air Force Falcons series. U.S. Air Force leads the series 3 games to 2.
