Duckett Has 32-Game Hitting Streak

The U.S. Marine Corps Fighting Leathernecks stopped the 3M Miners, 10-3, and Reed Duckett collected a base hit yet again. The U.S. Marine Corps second baseman finished with 1 hit to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 32.
"I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Duckett told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Reed Duckett flied out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, was hit by a pitch in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
At present, Duckett is batting .388 with 59 hits and 11 home runs. He has knocked in 49 runs and scored 40 times.
