Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for McIntosh Monday, February 18th , 2064 Mack McIntosh ran his hitting streak to 30 straight games at Henry Ford Field, when he collected 3 hits in 7 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the U.S. Marine Corps Fighting Leathernecks dropped the game, 8-5, to the AmGen Chemists. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," McIntosh said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Mack McIntosh struck out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, singled in the 6th, doubled in the 8th, flied out in the 10th and grounded out in the 11th. Thus far this year, McIntosh is hitting .491 with 14 home runs, 60 RBIs and 53 runs scored. |
